As the weather cools, we’re filling up our bulky weight section here at HYS, making sure we have sweater quantities and plenty of colors to choose from. Last week, we freshened up our supply of Cascade Eco+, giant skeins of bulky weight wool.

- Knitting Gauge: 14 – 16 sts = 4″ (10 cm)
Knitting Needle Size: US 9 – 10 (5.5 – 6.0 mm) - Crochet Gauge: 9 – 11 scs = 4″ (10 cm)
Crochet Hook Size: K – L (6.5 – 8.0 mm) - hand wash cold, lay flat to dry
Cascade Eco+ (colors) and Ecological Wool (undyed) is soft, wearable, and economical. One skein is enough for a cozy scarf, a good sized shawl, or a handful of hats. It’s also great for knitting garments, crocheting blankets, or felting accessories.
