Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and though we’ve mentioned it in the past few email newsletters, I wanted to post a reminder that we’ll soon be closing for a Thanksgiving break.
In years past, we’ve been open for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, major shopping holidays that have always been good for business. This year, we’re prioritizing time with family, so the shop will be closed from Wednesday – Monday, November 22 – 27, re-opening at our regular business hours on Tuesday, November 28.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciate your understanding. Thanksgiving is an opportunity for those of us who work and teach at the shop to be with our friends and family, and we wish you the same. We hope Thanksgiving finds you nestled in your community or your own good company, acknowledging all the good we have and maybe even knitting a few rows.
In the meantime, come by the shop this weekend to start your holiday gift-shopping or pick up some materials for the project at hand – thanks as ever for your support!

No reason to apologize. I’m sure most of us will be enjoying our families with plenty of knitting projects to keep us occupied when we are not in the kitchen. I for one am making progress on the Acadia poncho. Hugs to all!

Can’t wait to see your poncho! Happy holidays to you!

So refreshing to have a business prioritize family holidays over holiday shopping. Best wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving!
