Knit a “Sundial Shawl”
Instructor: Katherine Applegate
Saturdays: May 10, 17, and 31, 2025; 1:30 - 3:00 pm
Join Katherine's class to knit this beautiful top-down, half-circle shaped shawl. The
design includes stripes, slipped stitches, a small brioche-tuck section (which can be ribbed if you prefer), and a knitted-on border.
Experience: Students should be comfortable with knitting, purling, casting-on, and casting-off. Class will cover carrying yarn for stripes, slip stitches, the basic brioche-tuck stitch used in the pattern, the knit-on border technique, and blocking instructions.
