Granny Square Tote
Instructor: Katherine Applegate
Saturdays: June 6, 13, and 27, 2026; 1:30-3:00 pm.
Build your crochet skills as you make a granny square tote bag! Edita Bruzge's pattern features sturdy handles and a colorful central motif easily customized with your favorite color combinations. In this three-session class series, Katherine will guide students through tote bag construction, handle placement and finishing techniques, and an optional cotton liner for added durability and style.
Experience: Students should be comfortable with chaining, slip stitch, single crochet, and double crochet stitches. We will cover working in the round, reading basic crochet patterns, seaming, adding handles, and adding an optional cotton liner.
